I recently got a new phone since my old one broke. I tried to be as careful with it as possible, but being th, that involved dropping it a few times. To prevent any damage to my new phone, I bought myself a LifeProof Case and will be reviewing it now.
Personally, I think that LifeProof Cases are waaaaay too expensive. I understand that they are "designed to deliver complete confidence and total freedom – the freedom to live however, whenever and wherever your life takes you," but that doesn't mean that I should be paying $80.00 for a few pieces of plastic. With that said, I did it anyways, because based on the opinions of my friends who have LifeProof Cases, it was well worth the money.
When I first opened the box of my LifeProof, I was a little disappointed. LifeProof claims that their cases are, in my standards, indestructible, but what I saw laying in the box was just plastic that I could easily snap in half. After doing the water test, I put the case on my phone. At first, I was nervous to run my phone under water, but I eventually did it.
After about a month with the case, I am very pleased. I have dropped my phone a few times, and it has held up perfectly. I have the iPhone 5S, and the Touch ID feature works perfectly through the case. I recommend the case to anyone who has just gotten a new phone; however, if your phone is older, I don't think it's worth it to spend $80 trying to protect it.
